Although the weather maybe out of the norm there now, there’s much to love about today’s hot spot. Known for more than just the famous river, Mississippi is breath taking scenery. Take a journey across the stretch of the Natchez Trace Parkway and experience Native American mounds and sections overlooking large bodies of water. Visit in the fall to experience the beautiful array of colors. Don’t worry there’s more to do then just take in the sites of trees and water. Mississippi is filled with great cultural activities from historic homes and Landmarks to Museums and Performing arts. Mississippi culture is a mixture of French, Spanish, Native American and African American influences. For those looking for a bit more excitement, the Magnolia State offers a variety of choices for nightlife entertainment. Hal & Mal’s restaurant on the north dead end of Commerce Street features live entertainment and hub for one of Mississippi’s liveliest attractions-Mal’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade. Definitely a must visit!!
